Turtle Count

There are a lot of turtles (kame in Japanese) in the Pretty Guardian Sailormoon live-action. Here is a list and counting for all the turtles that appear:

How I count turtles:
* Any actual turtle, item, or written word (such as "TURTLE" or "TURTOISE") counts as one turtle. I count turtles for each episode, including the last act review, at the beginning, and the next act preview, at the end. Any turtles during the commercials are NOT counted.
* "New turtles" means a turtle that is being seen for the first time.
* "Turtles in Act" means the number of turtles that appeared in the act. Each turtle item is only counted once, even if it appears multiple times during that episode.
* "Turtles by Scene" counts the number of times a turtle appeared in the act. Each item is counted once per scene. So if a turtle is seen in 3 scenes, then it is counted 3 times. A "scene" ends when location, characters, or action changes.
* "Total Turtles" is the number of "Turtles by Scene" added up.

Crazy Turtle Lovers:
Motoki and his friend Takai seem to be obsessed with turtles.

Motoki taking a picture of himself and 'Kamekichi' Motoki showing a picture of another turtle to Kamekichi Motoki's turtle stays in his aquarium at Crown Karaoke. Motoki can often be seen just starring at him and smiling. In Act 7, Usagi brings the turtle food and calls him "Kame-san" ("Mr. Turtle"). In later episodes, we find out his name is "Kamekichi." In Act 13, Motoki loses Kamekichi and it turns out that Shin (Kunzite's human form) found him.

Takai-kun wearing his 'TURTLE' shirt and holding his turtle back-pack Youma-Takai's back-pack stores stolen energy Takai-kun seems to be even more obsessed with turtles than Motoki. He goes to the amusement park wearing an orange and yellow stripped shirt with 3 turtles on the front and the word "TURTLE" in English. He also has a turtle back-pack and a lemon-slice container that says "TORTOISE" on the cover in English.
