History: Shinozaki was seen in only one episode and did not appear in the Manga. He is one of Makoto's (Lita's) friends from childhood. Makoto said that he was always there for her when she needed him. She recalled the time when she had been rejected by a crush and was standing out in the rain. It was Shinozaki who comforted her and brought her an umbrella. Shinozaki was attacked by the lion Cardian, Pharaion (no name in English version) after jumping in front of Makoto to protect her. The Cardian hurled him over the edge of a stairway and he lost a lot of blood. Shinozaki was taken to the hospital and required a blood transfusion. The hospital was low on type O blood, so Makoto donated her blood.
